About this role: Wells Fargo\’s US equity client footprint is growing steadily in the EMEA region, and we are seeking an experienced US Equity Research Sales Executive Director to help us continue along our existing growth path. This role will be based in London.
In this role, you will:
- Perform the function of a traditional US equity research salesperson for covered accounts
- Manage relationships as Wells Fargo equities relationship manager for primary coverage relationships
- Focus on US equity research as the core product responsibility
- Engage in US corporate access and equity capital markets (ECM) activities
- Engage extensively with clients in person as a key to success
- Travel extensively, including attending US-based industry conferences
- Generate content for clients; internal sharing is encouraged
- Optimize relationships with Italian institutional clients
- Use data such as AON McLagan/Coalition wallet share and production trends to measure success
- Apply a data-centric approach to resource allocation and opportunity evaluation
- Collaborate across equity disciplines and other CIB markets to grow client value
- Ensure high client engagement reflected in industry surveys
- Adhere to Wells Fargo\’s culture and conduct standards
- Handle conflicts respectfully and positively within a small team environment
- Assist in mentoring and coaching emerging talent
- Work in-office 5 days a week whenever possible
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in Securities Sales or equivalent through work, training, military, or education
Desired Qualifications:
- High energy, self-motivated, collaborative, and capable of working in a high-performance team
- Extensive client-facing experience with relevant institutional relationships
- Experience acting as EMEA roadshow concierge for WF content and clients
- Prior experience with Italian institutional clients is essential
Job Expectations:
This role is a Certified Person under FCA and PRA regulations, requiring ongoing fitness and proper conduct, including acting with integrity, skill, and fairness, and complying with conduct rules and regulatory standards.
