The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.
Working closely with the Head of Construction Underwriting, Technical and Operational Underwriting teams, the key objective is to support on projects which drive additional revenue opportunities for the MGA, whilst also supporting the Head of Construction Underwriting in capacity performance and management. The role is not intended to undertake referrals for the underwriting of individual risks.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for leading the Technical Construction Underwriting to ensure successful planning and delivery of projects and Key Account performance management.
- Assist the Head of Construction Underwriting with capacity management: to include, but not limited to, completion of monthly performance monitoring; conduct MI; underwriting footprint review and recommendations for either improvement to manage performance, or growth through widening of footprint.
- Assist with working towards a business strategy of capacity and product rationalisation, recommending change as appropriate.
- Collaboration with the Product and Governance Team to ensure compliance and oversight of FCA Fair Values reporting, and product review process.

- Core Pricing/Underwriting background/experience.
- Experience of working with Insurer Partners.
- Experience of project implementation.
- Proven track record of embracing and working in an environment of change.

- Ability to manage a portfolio of activity, and make independent decisions on priorities.
