Join Our Birmingham Depot as a Team Lead

We’re looking for a Team Lead to join our Birmingham Depot. In this role, you will serve as the link between supervisors and warehouse staff, providing hands-on leadership and supervision to ensure maximum effort and attention to detail in a safe and tidy environment.

Role Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate, prioritize, and delegate transport activities.
  2. Manage staff hours, sickness, and holidays to ensure smooth operations.
  3. Motivate and develop staff to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  4. Check, load, and deliver customer orders on predetermined routes using Asset Tracking Devices.
  5. Ensure products are transported under correct conditions, maintaining temperature, cleanliness, and security.
  6. Perform safety checks on your vehicle and equipment.

This role requires standing and walking for most of your shift, and the ability to lift products up to 15kg, as well as bending, twisting, kneeling, and crouching.

Key Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications

  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Ability to prioritize workload.
