JOB SUMMARY
This Transfer Pricing Assistant Manager (Analyst) is a key member of the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (“EMEA”) Entity, Reporting & Tax team. The primary responsibility of the TP Assistant Manager is to support the Transfer Pricing Manager (TP Manager) in coordinating and managing all aspects of local Transfer Pricing compliance.
This entails support with key compliance activities including but not limited to submission of Informative Returns/Country by Country Notifications and Local Filing, along with related planning, market/competition research, and documentation.
The role reports to the TP Manager.
Role Location: London, UK, Eschborn Germany, or Cape Town, South Africa.
SCOPE/BUSINESS CONTEXT/EXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONS
- Assist with the preparation and delivery of information required for local TP filings across various EMEA jurisdictions.
- Gather and analyze data from databases for arm’s length pricing.
- Verify transaction details using relevant software.
- Support TP Manager in coordinating EMEA Country-by-Country reporting.
- Assist with data gathering for Transfer Pricing initiatives in EMEA.
- Maintain accurate working papers in standard formats.
- Manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.
- Build effective relationships with team members and stakeholders.
- Enhance Transfer Pricing technical knowledge and practical skills.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Up to 3 years’ experience in Tax and/or Management accounting preferred.
- Interest in International Taxation and Hotel Operations.
- Understanding of broader finance and accounting concepts outside taxation.
- Advanced Excel skills, capable of handling large data sets.
- Strong analytical and evaluative skills.
- Knowledge of Peoplesoft is a plus.
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
- Efficient time management abilities.
Education or Certification
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Studies towards Accounting and/or Tax qualifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CTA, CIMA) are advantageous but not mandatory.

- Organizational and prioritization skills for managing multiple tasks.
- Good business process understanding ensuring compliance and quality results.
- Ability to work collaboratively.
- Fluency in English required; additional European or Arabic language skills are a plus.
- High initiative, responsibility, and integrity.
- Interest in Transfer Pricing and eagerness to learn.
- Self-motivated and receptive to feedback.
