HCI Systems is a leading Electronic and Wiring Harness Manufacturing specialist based near Telford and is part of the Prodrive Group. As one of the leading providers for wiring harnesses and custom electronics in the motorsport, automotive, defence and marine sectors, our business is expanding and we are now investing in the next generation of electrical technicians to accelerate our growth.
As a Trainee Wiring Harness Technician based in our new premises near Telford, you will receive comprehensive training to assemble wiring harnesses for some of the most prestigious names in motorsport and the automotive industry. Your duties will include precise assembly, quality control, and ensuring that our products meet the highest industry standards. Driven and with high levels of attention to detail, you will have a flexible approach to work and take pride in getting things right.
Key Responsibilities:- Build and test wiring looms and harnesses from technical drawings.
- Work as part of an agile team, in a fast-moving environment.
- Carry out hands-on work competently to set production times.
- Level 2 in an Engineering qualification or similar is an advantage.
- Previous experience in engineering or manufacturing is preferred but not essential.
