We are looking to appoint a number of Trainee Fire & Security Engineers within Marlowe Fire & Security throughout various locations across the UK.
A basic starting salary of £26,000 per annum.

No experience is necessary as our in-house Training Academy will give you the skills you need to work in our exciting business and kick-start your new career. However, experience / understanding / education within the electrical industry would be a significant advantage.
The Role
You will be trained to service a wide variety of fire and security systems all located within a compact geographical area. You will be provided with a company van and all the tools that you need to carry out your work. This is an entry level role in the fire and security industry, but continuous development opportunities will be available for candidates that decide they want to become a fully qualified fire & security engineer.
Requirements
Who We’re Looking For:
- These are Trainee roles within the business; therefore, we are not looking for candidates who are already experienced in these disciplines.
- We can provide the training you need to start your career in the Fire & Security Industry.
- We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate the following attributes:
- Electrical and or Engineering experience would be preferred but not mandatory.
- Willingness to learn and develop within a growing organisation.
- Great attention to detail.
- Professional and presentable at all times.
- Must be able to perform well as an individual as well as part of a team.
- Must have a positive attitude.
- Full driving licence – mandatory.
Induction / Start Date / Training
Our inductions will commence on the 18th November 2024 – this start date is mandatory. The training programme will run for 12 weeks which will be a combination of classroom training and on-site training. There will be Christmas Bank Holidays within this period. Our inductions and classroom training is delivered at our Training Academy at Salford Quays. You will be required to attend for week-long training for each alternate week. Travel, accommodation and food/drink expenses will be provided on the days that you are at the Academy. Your on-site training will be in your local region where you will be buddied-up with an experienced Engineer. Full attendance for all training is mandatory. The application deadline for the opportunity is Sunday 13th October 2024. All applications must be submitted on or prior to this date. The 1st stage interview will be a video interview; you must be comfortable doing a video interview to progress with this opportunity.
