Duties & Responsibilities:
- Dealing with multiple drivers.
- Communicating with ports.
- Booking delivery slots for port entry.
- Using the TOPS transport system to schedule drivers' start and finish times.
- Chasing drivers for ETAs and ensuring punctuality.
- Rerouting jobs as needed.
- Matching PODs with the correct jobs on the system.
- Advising customers about delays and ETAs.
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Transport Operator – Essential.
- Confident and clear communicator – written and verbal.
- Willing to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
- Excellent UK geographical knowledge.
- Ability to work independently.
