You will be joining a team of eight covering the entire remit of Global Settlements, including the complete trade lifecycle from order inception to final settlement of stock and cash across various asset classes and markets such as CREST, DTC, and Euroclear. Primarily, your role will involve supporting all aspects of post-trade settlement, with exposure to all elements of Global Settlements due to ongoing cross-training within the team. The main purpose of this role is to facilitate the settlement of International Equities, including FX transactions.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Monitoring global markets, checking reports, identifying, investigating, and resolving settlement matching issues, and liaising with relevant market makers as needed.
- Monitoring exception reports throughout the settlement cycle, updating and amending data in relevant custody portals.
- Handling trade amendments and mailbox monitoring.
- Performing error analysis, resolution, and management of reconciliation breaks, liaising with relevant departments.
- Supporting compliance and audit processes by following CASS rules and escalating issues as needed.
- Drafting detailed responses to stakeholders.
- FX calculations and trade input.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook, and MS Teams.
- Good understanding of percentage calculations and numerical formulas.
