Are you a Test Lead looking for a new opportunity?
As a Test Lead, you will assume a hands-on role in managing various aspects of the testing process, including test estimation, requirement analysis, risk evaluation, test cycle definition, metrics, monitoring, test case creation, and execution. You will collaborate with development teams to investigate and resolve software bugs and deficiencies based on test outcomes.
Reporting to the onsite Test Manager, you will play a key role in the growth of the testing function.
Key responsibilities:
- Leading the development of QA test strategies, test plans, and quality assurance standards across teams.
- Creating and reviewing test cases based on requirements and release plans (when available).
- Executing functional, regression, and integration test scripts.
- Supporting business teams in creating and executing user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Collaborating with key stakeholders in defect triage to determine severity and priority.
- Conducting root cause analysis (RCA) of QA failures as needed.
- Coordinating testing efforts primarily with third parties and managing reporting metrics.
- Communicating risks and proposing mitigations.
- Participating in waterfall and scrum teams with a focus on quality, ensuring appropriate acceptance criteria for deliveries and user stories.
- Managing defect tracking, updates, and reporting.
- Creating QA progress/status reports and facilitating internal and external quality review meetings.
- Assisting test management in developing plans and tracking key milestone dates.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Test Lead role.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and/or systems concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
- Operational test role experience.
- Expertise in defining test cases, both manual and automated.
- Proficiency in defining both positive and negative test cases.
- Experience with high-volume, mission-critical applications.
- Thorough understanding of the software development process, including analysis, design, coding, system and user testing, problem resolution, and planning.
- Experience in managing complex data sets for reliable automated testing.
Desired Skills:
- Experience in the retail industry is advantageous.
