Pay and Hours

Our Shift Leader rate of pay starts from £14.76 an hour; this increases to £15.97 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, with options for fewer hours (minimum 12). We are flexible with scheduling and support your availability preferences.

About the Role

Customers are at the heart of everything we do. As a Shift Leader at Tesco, you will support store operations, help customers, and lead a team to ensure the store runs smoothly. Your role involves overseeing daily activities, coaching colleagues, and maintaining a safe shopping environment.

As a Shift Leader, you will:
