Pay and Hours

Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £12.45 an hour; this increases to £13.66 for stores inside the M25. For hours worked between midnight and 6am, you will receive an additional night premium of £2.35 per hour. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

It is Tesco\’s policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, with options to work fewer hours (minimum 12). We aim to support flexibility and will schedule your hours within the advertised availability windows, providing 3 weeks\’ notice of your shifts. We welcome applications from those whose availability closely matches but not exactly aligns with these times.
