Business Development Manager required for an international packaging equipment manufacturer based in the Maidenhead area; however, the territory for this position will be Yorkshire, Liverpool, Manchester, etc. The successful candidate will have a strong business development background ideally within a similar industry.
Position Overview
- Lead Generation and Prospecting: Generate leads through various channels. Qualify leads and prioritise opportunities based on strategic fit and revenue potential.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and challenges to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. Cultivate relationships with new clients, understanding their requirements and offering tailored packaging equipment solutions to meet their specific needs.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, industry challenges, and potential areas for growth within the packaging equipment sector. Analyse market data and competitor activity to develop strategies for market penetration and differentiation.
- Demonstrating product knowledge to customers.
Position Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role with similar product experience.
Position Remuneration
- £40K plus up to £2k-£3k commission every quarter.
- Company car or van.
- Life Insurance x4 salary.
- National travel.
- Auto enrolment pension.
- 25 days holiday + banks.
- Private Medical after 2 years.
- Circa 45 hour working week Monday to Friday - Ideally they want a grafter, someone who will work over their hours etc (hungry sales person).
- Christmas shutdown.
