Job Description:

The opportunity

We are seeking to expand our team with IT M&A / strategy consultants. As a Senior Executive (Manager), you will advise clients in the financial services sector, supporting key decision-makers in developing and executing transaction strategies. Your technical skills will be applied across the M&A lifecycle, including pre-deal diligence, carve-outs, and integrations.

Your Key Responsibilities

1. Leading or contributing to pre-deal engagements such as technology and operational due diligence.
2. Managing or contributing to technology workstreams in integrations or carve-outs.
3. Assisting in business origination, including pitches and presentations, within project teams.
4. Executing Strategy and Transaction services to support client decision-making.
5. Adding value in a fast-paced environment with strong business acumen.
6. Contributing to practice development and team culture.
7. Supporting the development, recruitment, and training of junior team members.

To qualify for the role you must have

1. Experience in professional services or consulting within Transactions, including due diligence, carve-outs, or integrations.
2. Strong communication skills and experience producing high-quality reports and presentations.
3. Proven IT project delivery experience managing workstreams and deliverables.
4. Broad IT experience in applications, infrastructure, architecture, risk & cybersecurity, or financials.
5. Strong analytical skills linking operational analysis to financial implications.
6. Flexibility to travel to client sites as needed.

Ideally, you’ll also have

1. Experience building relationships with senior clients and influencing decision-makers.
2. Experience in the financial services sector.
3. Quantitative and qualitative analysis skills.
4. Support experience in sales and business development.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills.
6. Strong teamwork skills across diverse groups.
