A pivotal time to join this close-knit tax team in Glasgow as Tax Senior. This long-established firm of Chartered Accountants boasts an impressive client base and sustained longevity within their market.
As the firm continues to grow and evolve, a new opportunity has been created for a mixed-tax professional to support senior management with a range of tax compliance requirements, review responsibilities, and support advisory projects and business development activities.
The firm has made significant recent investments in technology and is keen to grow their future managers and leaders internally. As such, this is an excellent opportunity to move to a role with genuine progression and advisory opportunities.
The team works on a hybrid basis (4 days per week) with a commitment to the training and development of trainees, effective collaboration, and shared technical expertise. This role will review and oversee a varied portfolio ranging from high-net-worth individuals, professional partnerships, and business owners to large companies and fast-growing OMBs. The Partner is also keen to mentor those with a genuine interest in honing their business development and commercial skillset.
Ideally, you will be ATT Qualified with a minimum of 3-4 years of experience working in the tax team of a reputable accounting firm. CTA qualification or willingness to study towards this qualification would be advantageous. You will be a highly organized individual with excellent communication skills and enjoy working collaboratively as part of a proactive team of multi-skilled tax advisers.
Up to £36,000 (DOE) + Benefits. A full study support package is also provided, if applicable. The office is centrally located with excellent public transport links, and the team enjoys regular social events throughout the month.
