Puro Associates are excited to be working with a small friendly accountancy practice with various offices in the Scotland area. This firm is on the lookout for a Tax Manager to join their growing team ideally in their Edinburgh office. This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Tax Manager or senior looking for the next steps in your career within a small and supportive firm.

Responsibilities of a Tax Manager include but are not limited to:

  • Reviewing the work of junior members of staff, ensuring deadlines are met, reviewing their performance etc.
  • Training and coaching junior staff to aid their development within the business.
  • Day to day running of the Tax department.
  • Tax Planning, forecasting and providing advice/assistance to clients.
  • Undertaking additional tasks assigned by the Director/Senior Manager.

What we are looking for in our ideal Tax Manager:

  • ACA, ACCA OR CTA Qualified
  • At least 2-3 years of experience managing a tax department
  • Confident in running a tax department and meeting tight deadlines.
