Brambles has a clear and well-established corporate strategy that has delivered strong performance over many years. This strategy is continually evolving to ensure ongoing success and alignment with changing customer needs. The purpose of this position is to ensure that the Brambles Group strategy and the strategic programs that underpin it are rigorously developed, continually evolved, and effectively executed. Reporting to the Chief Digital Officer, emphasizing the importance of Digital as a key enabler of Brambles\’ long-term agenda, this role will be critical in embedding digital within the enterprise corporate strategy as Brambles evolves into a data solutions-led organization, overseeing key growth initiatives that support Brambles’ future success. The SVP Strategy will chair the global strategy team, be a member of the Digital Leadership Team, with plans to join the Group ELT within 2-3 years.

Key Accountabilities
- Ensure the Group strategy and underpinning programs are rigorously developed, evolved, and executed.
- Partner with regional presidents (CEOs) and strategy leads to define and execute strategies.
- Identify global opportunities, define strategies, and execute through regional and functional units.
- Collaborate across all business units and functions, supporting the ELT to align around strategy.
- Lead the annual strategy planning process, including discussions for the semi-annual board review.
- Ensure regional and business unit plans align with overall strategy and instill confidence in the ELT and Board regarding delivery.
- Partner with Investor Relations to communicate strategies externally.
- Oversee the Group\’s investment portfolio with Corporate Finance to maximize performance.
- Lead the Digital Strategy team to define and implement digital initiatives.
- Member of the Digital Leadership Team and Chair of the Global Strategy Team.
- Build strategic capabilities across the business for better decision-making.

About the Person
- Effective across a matrix organization, influencing and engaging stakeholders at all levels.

Experience and Qualifications
- MBA or graduate degree in Strategic Planning or similar.
- 15+ years in in-house strategy roles within large global organizations, ideally with consulting experience.
- Logistics expertise valued; FMCG or Retail experience relevant.
- Experience in international organizations and global management teams.
- Proven digital strategy development and technology integration skills.
- Credibility in strategic, financial, and operational leadership with stakeholders and boards.
