Our client is a leading manufacturer dedicated to producing products recognized for their exceptional quality. Due to exciting plans for the second half of 2024, they are looking for a Supply Chain Planner to join their Supply Chain / Procurement team.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Developing and managing supplier relationships to meet business requirements
  • Evaluating supplier performance
  • Supporting and leading supplier selection, supplier development, and NPI
  • Identifying opportunities for quality, cost, delivery, and lead time improvements
  • Leading problem-solving activities to resolve issues affecting supplier relations and supply chain performance
  • Applying root cause analysis and corrective actions

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • CIPS Qualified
  • Experience in an Engineering, Manufacturing, or Production environment
  • Knowledge of procurement and contractual law (advantageous)

Benefits Package:

  • Salary: £38,000 – £40,000
  • Hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours/week, flexible start time, half-day Friday
  • Benefits include: 33 days holiday, 8x life insurance, healthcare package, employee share options, flexible benefits, sick pay scheme, profit share bonus, and a 9% pension contribution
