Job Description:

Technical Staffing Resources (TSR) are the in-house agency and master vendor for KBR, a leading global engineering, construction, and services company.

KBR supports the hydrocarbon and government services markets on six continents, offering challenging assignments on some of the world\’s largest and most complex projects.

As a Technical Advisor – Offshore Structural, you will support the lead engineer in preparing engineering deliverables within your scope, including:

• Design basis, material, and construction specifications
• Performing engineering analyses for operational, non-operational, and accidental phases
• Performing detailed design of equipment supports, access platforms, etc.
• Reviewing analyses/calculations performed by others, providing technical guidance, and resolving discrepancies

The role involves liaising with other disciplines, clients, and third-party contractors, coordinating with project team members across global offices to meet deadlines and budgets.

Requirements:

• Degree in Structural Engineering Design
• Minimum 12 years of experience with strong technical and practical engineering skills
• Proficient in SESAM GENIE and SESAM software suite
• Desirable: proficiency in ABAQUS and USFOS for non-linear FEA
• In-depth knowledge of offshore design codes such as ISO 19901, EN 19902, DNV & NORSOK
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Ability to work independently and in multi-disciplinary teams
• Office-based role
