Job Description:

Structural Engineer required for our rapidly expanding client to work across the North West based from their Warrington office and from home. The Structural Engineer will be working for a company that operates across the UK specializing in Structural Inspections supported with a Structural Design team.

The Structural Engineer will be field-based providing Structural design for all types of building structures using new digital technology on a range of Residential, Commercial, and Historic Buildings. This opportunity will suit a Structural Engineer who is comfortable working from home full time and has a passion and drive for Structural Engineering and new technologies. The company will fully support the Engineer to become chartered and progress their career as the company grows.

• Structural design for all types of building structures, under the supervision of a Senior Structural Engineer
• Preparation of associated AutoCAD structural drawings
• Providing support to the Senior Structural Engineers
• Assistance with site inspections
• Developing new ideas
• Using the latest software
• 1 or higher degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering
• Proficiency in IT systems (essential)
• A general understanding of building structures and materials including steel, masonry, concrete, and timber
• Industry standard structural design software such as TEDDS
• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD
• Passionate about new technologies and progressive change
• Car owner and UK driving licence
