Structural Analysis Engineer

Location: Southampton

Salary: Up to £50,000 or £45 per hour Outside IR35

Responsibilities:

• Perform structural analysis and simulations for aerospace components and assemblies.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure structural integrity and performance of aircraft structures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related; Master’s preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in structural analysis, preferably in aerospace.
• Proficiency in FEA software (e.g., ANSYS, NASTRAN, Abaqus).
• Knowledge of materials science, fatigue, fracture mechanics.
• Experience with CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks).
• Understanding of aerospace standards and regulations (e.g., FAR, JAR, EASA).
