Job Description:

We are looking for a Strategic PR Consultant for one of the industry’s success story financial communications agencies. This agency, at the top of their field, is looking to hire a Consultant / Account Director to join the team to challenge client briefs, lead client programmes and deliver strategic thinking and advice across the agency.

You would be working with partners across all accounts and come from a media relations / account facing Financial PR background but you will want to move into a strategic space, giving client counsel across a variety of sector accounts.

Your strategic thinking and ambition is essential as is your PR experience, ideally in a client-facing setting although we will consider candidates from an in-house background for this role. This role is more about the approach, strategic thinking and ability to challenge not only a brief but all written communications from the target audience and stakeholder perspective.

You will:

1. Be a financial communications expert and immersed in the financial communications world.
2. Have 5+ years of strong experience in PR and understand how the industry works.
3. Already be operating at at least AM, SAM or AD level in your current role.
4. Be a strategic queen or king.
5. Demonstrate confidence with clients and stakeholders.
6. Be known as a nice, decent person.
7. Be committed to continually learning.
8. Be ambitious, wanting to win awards for outstanding PR work.
