The role of Strategy & Business Modelling Consultant at BTS involves working within a small internal team to partner with leaders from some of the world’s leading corporations – Global 100 and 500 companies – to learn how their business works and what their strategies are.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting research and utilising client data to conceptualise and model the relevant strategic aspects in simulations used in our client solutions.
  • Building bespoke simulations from scratch to fit the needs of our clients.
  • Presenting concepts to clients, participating in simulation builds, and managing broader project tasks.
  • Delivering simulations with client participants.

Variety is key in this role. You will work on multiple projects simultaneously, across different industries, and with various internal teams. Travel is expected to be approximately 20% of the time when delivering a programme. This all takes place within a team-based environment where our entrepreneurial culture of freedom and responsibility empowers you to contribute from day one.

Is this for you? You should be highly analytical – a PhD would be ideal, but a good degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics is also great. You should be curious about applying new technologies such as artificial intelligence. The ability to switch from being highly analytical to creative and innovative with facilitation ideas is essential. Effective communication skills are necessary to distil complex concepts clearly. You should be able to work at pace and be comfortable liaising directly with clients within a small internal team. Additionally, you should be able to focus for hours, sometimes alone, completing the business modelling required for our simulations, while also enjoying the process with colleagues and clients.

A good degree is required – a PhD is a plus, but we’ve successfully recruited candidates from various academic backgrounds and subject areas.
