Job Description:

Technical Staffing Resources (TSR) are the in-house agency and master vendor for KBR, a leading global engineering, construction, and services company.

KBR supports the hydrocarbon and government services markets on six continents, offering challenging assignments on some of the world’s largest and most complex projects.

We are looking for a Senior Offshore Structural Engineer on an 8-month contract based in Leatherhead.

On Offer:

• Competitive hourly pay rate
• Hybrid Working – 3 days in the office, 2 days from home
• IR35 Determination – Highly likely to be outside, so engagement through a LLC is permitted

Job Overview:
As a Senior Offshore Structural Engineer, you will support the lead in the preparation of engineering deliverables within the assigned scope. The role will involve liaising with other disciplines, clients, and third-party contractors, coordinating and working with project team members across global offices to deliver tasks within allotted timelines and budgets.

Skills / Experience:

• Design basis, material and construction specifications
• Ability to independently perform engineering studies and produce recommendation reports
• Familiarity with American and Euro norm design codes and standards
• Coordinate, direct, and review analysis/calculations, typically:

• Structures – buildings, equipment support structures, pipe racks, culverts/bridges, earth retaining structures
• Foundations – shallow, piled as appropriate
• Civil infrastructure – site preparation earthworks, roads
