Our Client is an award-winning Primary care services provider that helps to manage centralised and overspill clinical services on behalf of a network of GP surgeries across London. As the number of clinical services being delivered and patient demand continues to increase, they are now seeking to appoint an ARTP Qualified Spirometry Technician/ Nurse for regular weekly shifts.
Role: Spirometry Technician/ Nurse
Location: Central London (City of London)
Days & Hours: TBC
Rate: £24ph (Ltd/Sole Trader)
The Role
- Undertake high-quality spirometry testing, support respiratory health assessments, interpret results, and ensure compliance with current clinical and professional standards.
- Ensure appropriate patient preparation, including pre-test instructions and assessment of symptoms and conditions.
- Set up and maintain spirometry equipment as per ARTP protocols.
- Advise patients to clarify the purpose of spirometry testing.
- Regularly check the equipment to ensure readiness for testing.
The Candidate (Medical and Nursing)
- Association for Respiratory Technology & Physiology Qualified.
- 1 year experience in Spirometry testing and results interpretation.
- In date Mandatory training.
- Current DBS on the Update Service.
