Spanish Teacher Needed – September 2024 Start

Prospero Teaching is seeking to recruit a well-qualified and dedicated Spanish Teacher, to start in September.

Ideal Candidate:

• Has a proven history of securing excellent pupil results in Spanish GCSE exams.
• Can inspire and lead high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment.
• Is dynamic and an ambitious practitioner, capable of building on the success of the subject and ensuring good progress for all pupils.
• Has experience of effective teaching and supporting pupils with a range of SEN, behavioural, and academic needs.

Experience, Training, and Qualifications:

• QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS, or equivalent (for supply teaching work).
• Previous experience working in a UK school (preferred).
• Up-to-date safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable but not essential).

Eligibility Requirements:

• Willing to register with Prospero Teaching and complete all vetting checks.
• Hold Right to Work in the UK.
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
• Provide two professional child-related references.

Contract Details:

• Location: Lambeth, North West London.
• Position: Spanish Teacher.
• Work Type: KS3/KS4 Spanish Teacher.
• Start Date: September 2024.
• Duration: Ongoing.
• Contract Type: Permanent.
• Full-time: Yes.
• Hours: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, plus parents\’ evenings.

Additional Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year teaching experience in the UK (desirable).
• Up-to-date safeguarding training issued in the last year.
