Job Description

• Flexible working: You have autonomy to manage your time and diary to suit your work/life balance.

Are you driven by a desire to help organisations achieve value for money through better procurement and strategic sourcing arrangements? Our Sourcing, IT Strategy & Corporate Services capability is looking for a Sourcing and Procurement Consultant . You will have the opportunity to:

• Work on significant and complex sourcing challenges facing public and private sector organisations in the UK and internationally.
• Provide strategic advice, transform organisations’ sourcing teams, and deliver complex procurements.
• Support clients to achieve desired business outcomes by applying innovative approaches to sourcing and procurement.

Qualifications

• Experience in strategic sourcing and/or procurement; prior consulting experience is essential for senior roles.
• Strong delivery experience from procurement/commercial and strategic sourcing projects.
• Expertise in navigating complex procurement processes within the Defence sector.
• Evidence of leading and supporting change initiatives in multifaceted stakeholder environments.
• Experience in managing supplier service delivery arrangements.
• Proven ability to think creatively and commercially to solve procurement challenges.
• Excellent interpersonal and team working skills for exceptional stakeholder management.
• Strong self-starter with excellent communication skills.
• CIPS, MCIPS, IACCM or equivalent sourcing qualifications are preferable.
• Prior consulting experience in a sourcing context is preferable.
