We are seeking a Sourcing and Procurement Consultant - Defence to join our team in Bristol or London. This role offers flexible working arrangements, including hybrid work from our offices and/or client sites 2-3 times per week.
The successful candidate will:
- Work on complex sourcing challenges for public and private sector clients in the UK and internationally.
- Provide strategic advice on transforming sourcing teams, managing multi-billion-pound procurements, and leveraging technology and data in sourcing processes.
- Support clients in achieving their business outcomes through innovative sourcing and procurement strategies.
Qualifications:
- Experience in strategic sourcing and procurement, with prior consulting experience for senior roles.
- Strong delivery background in procurement and strategic sourcing projects, from both buyer and supplier perspectives.
- Expertise in navigating procurement within the Defence sector to deliver value for money.
- Proven ability to lead change initiatives and manage stakeholder relationships.
- Experience managing supplier service delivery and sourcing relationships.
- Creative and commercial thinking skills to solve complex procurement challenges.
- Excellent interpersonal, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Relevant sourcing qualifications such as CIPS, MCIPS, or IACCM are preferred.
