Zodia Custody is a FCA, CBI and CSSF registered Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP), offering Digital Asset Custody services to Institutional Investors. Zodia Custody is a Venture backed by Standard Chartered Bank, Northern Trust and SBI Digital Asset Holdings based in the UK, Europe, Hong Kong, Australia, Singapore and Japan. Working for the Head of Engineering, the QA lead will play a crucial global role, ensuring quality across all geographies. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, this position involves driving continuous improvement initiatives and upholding the company's commitment to global quality standards. An excellent product understanding, collaborative mindset, effective communication, and strong leadership skills are indispensable for excelling in this dynamic role. Emphasizing teamwork, seamless communication, and robust leadership, this position will play a central role within the global engineering team. This is a London based role.
Key Tasks:
- Develop and Maintain Automation Frameworks: Design and implement automation frameworks for both mobile and web applications using tools like Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, and Appium.
- CI/CD Integration: Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines, leveraging tools like GitHub Actions and Jenkins to streamline deployments.
- Design and implement Test scripts.
- Performance and Load Testing: Conduct performance testing to ensure high-quality standards across all releases. Execute test cases, document results, update progress and track bugs.
- Collaborate in Agile Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, code reviews, and test case design.
- Test Data and Environment Management: Generate and manage test data and environments to support automated test execution.
- Documentation: Document testing procedures, results, and create detailed reports for stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with QA best practices and proactively seek improvements to enhance testing efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements:
- Problem solving and analytical skills.
- 5+ years in Automation role.
- Proficiency in automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium, and Cucumber.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
- Previous experience in the financial industry.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and experience working within sprint-based development cycles.
- Previous experience with blockchain technologies.
