Software Development Engineer III (Full Stack – Applications), London

This role involves working within our CILA Data & AI function to develop intelligent applications using cutting-edge technologies like LLMs, agent frameworks, and generative AI. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, automated solutions that enhance our business operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing and developing AI-powered applications and services
• Implementing agent-based architectures with AI components
• Building APIs and microservices for integration
• Deploying and scaling AI solutions on cloud infrastructure
• Collaborating with data engineers, scientists, and stakeholders
• Monitoring and improving application performance
• Applying best practices like CI/CD, version control, and testing
• Documenting architecture and code
• Troubleshooting technical issues
• Staying updated on emerging AI and software technologies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 3-4+ years of software engineering experience
• Proficiency in languages such as Go, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Java
• Experience with API development, microservices, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), web frameworks, databases, REST APIs, DevOps, and familiarity with LLMs and generative AI
