Job Description:

We are seeking a Children and Family Safeguarding Social Worker in Hertfordshire, Hemel Hempstead. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with children and demonstrate a strong interest in the \”Family Safeguarding\” approach. The role involves collaborating with multi-agency teams to achieve the best outcomes for children and families.

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of post-qualified experience, preferably within frontline children\’s teams. Training on motivational interviewing and other relevant skills will be provided by the Family Safeguarding Teams. Regular supervision will be conducted, with frequency depending on case risk levels. Caseloads are maintained under 20 cases per qualified social worker.
