• Knowledge of adolescent development and external factors affecting decision-making, resilience, and wellbeing
• Knowledge of issues affecting young people, including child sexual exploitation, youth offending, gangs, substance misuse, and child-to-parent violence
• Experience working with adolescents and their families in a statutory setting

NonStop’s client is seeking a Social Worker to join the Adolescent Team on an ongoing contract. This team is a specialist within an Integrated Adolescent Service, including Youth Justice, Early Help, Inclusion & Attendance, and Youth Services.

The team focuses on young people at risk of exploitation, providing intensive support to adolescents and their families to manage complex situations such as external harm and family conflict.

You will conduct statutory assessments and interventions for young people aged 16-18, considered under Southwark Judgements. The service has received positive feedback from Ofsted regarding its response to children at risk of harm.
