We are looking for a creative Social Media Editor to join the Wallpaper* digital team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the social media strategy for the world’s leading design publication, playing an important role in expanding our reach, increasing engagement, and driving traffic to Wallpaper’s digital platforms.
What you\’ll be doing
Reporting to the Director of Digital Content and working closely with our Head of Video, the Social Media Editor will manage Wallpaper’s social media presence across all platforms, creating engaging content, and leveraging analytics to optimise performance.
- Develop a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with Wallpaper’s editorial values and goals.
- Create compelling posts, stories, and multimedia content tailored to each platform’s audience (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest).
- Report on social media performance using tools like Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, and other analytics platforms. Use insights to inform strategy and content development.
Stay ahead of new social media trends, platform updates, and audience behaviours, proposing new opportunities to grow Wallpaper ’s digital presence.
Experience that will put you ahead of the curve
- Experience managing social media platforms for a luxury or design brand.
- Ability to edit videos and create visual assets using Photoshop or equivalent tools.
- Excellent writing skills to craft engaging captions and headlines.
- A flair for creating visually stunning and engaging posts that resonate with Wallpaper ’s audience.
- Proficiency in using analytics tools to track performance and inform decisions.
- Experience with major social media platforms, their algorithms, and best practices.
- Understanding of Wallpaper ’s brand values and target audience, with the ability to translate these into social-first content.
- Knowledge of social SEO and its role in growing organic reach and engagement.
What\’s in it for you
The expected salary range for this role is ÂŁ27,500 – ÂŁ33,000.
