Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all on-site activities, ensuring compliance with health, safety and quality standards.
- Lead and motivate site teams, including subcontractors and suppliers, to deliver high-quality work.
- Develop and implement project schedules, ensuring milestones are met.
- Liaise with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure smooth communication and project progression.
- Monitor costs and resources to achieve budgetary objectives.
- Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality and safety standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Construction Site Manager, ideally within a main contractor environment.
- Multi sector experience (build & civils) would be advantageous but is not essential as the initial project will be a light commercial scheme.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and health & safety protocols.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.
- Relevant qualifications such as SMSTS, CSCS card, and First Aid certification.
