An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Site Manager to join a well-established, Regional contractor with a varied project portfolio on an exciting, prestigious project in West Cornwall.
Located in a busy position, this complex refurbishment project poses a number of challenges, with logistics and location being included. As a seasoned Site Manager, it’s envisaged you’ll be able to manage the delivery of scheduled works, organise waste control, Health & Safety and compliance to planning regulations ensuring a good relationship with the community.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting, co-ordinating and monitoring all team and sub-contractor activities
- Ensuring the Health & Safety of all staff, sub-contractors, visitors & the public
- Producing and maintaining project records in line with procedures and company requirements
- Liaising with clients and reporting progress
- Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings & updating online doc control software where appropriate
- Maintaining quality control checks
- Day to day problem solving
Previous experience of planning and programming complex works to include renovations on listed buildings will be a must in addition to the following:
- SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid at Work and Temporary Works.
- Design & Build experience and/or Heritage experience preferred.
- Contract knowledge & reporting (NEC, JCT etc).
- Sound Health & Safety knowledge.
