Site Engineer Roads and Highways – setting out Site Engineer urgent Monday start

Value – £2 million
Type of work – Highways, remodelling existing road network and car parks

We are currently seeking a Site Engineer for a highways project. The setting out Site Engineer’s tasks will include, but are not limited to:

1. Setting out on-site (EDM / Total Station, etc.) for all aspects of work including drainage, earthworks, roadworks, ducting, site clearance, fencing, and structures.
2. Working as part of a team and assisting all team members as required, while being able to undertake site duties individually or seek assistance where necessary.
3. Completing a daily diary of works being undertaken on-site with accurate and comprehensive details.
4. Completing check sheets for quality standards, in accordance with ITPs.
5. Attending site meetings related to programme, safety, and working areas.
6. Exhibiting good communication skills with team members, sub-contractors, the general public, and the client.
7. Undertaking site surveys and producing sketches of survey work and construction sequences.

Training / Competency Requirements:

1. CSCS card relevant to appointment.
2. Minimum 5 years’ experience in the civil engineering industry.
