We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, inspirational Shop Manager to join Woodgreen at our Bicester Charity Shop.
With experience in a fast-paced, commercially focused, customer-facing role, this is a great opportunity to revamp our store and make your own mark while creating a positive and inclusive environment and building a great team of volunteers. By doing this, you will play a vital role in raising the funds to help us continue to support pets and their people.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our shop, with your primary responsibility being to ensure that it runs smoothly across all seven days of the week. You will lead your team to success and maximize shop profit and achieve agreed sales targets by:
- Ensuring maximum stock availability through the effective generation, sourcing, and processing of high-quality stock.
- Maintaining continual high standards of shop presentation, back of house operations, and customer service.
- Ensuring all volunteers are effectively recruited, trained, motivated, managed, and supported.
- Presenting and maintaining the highest standards of shop and window merchandising and visual layout.
- Ensuring that all financial, cash handling, and security policies and procedures are adhered to.

This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary of £25,518.25 per annum. A flexible approach to working will be required as the shop is open seven days per week.
This competitive salary will be complemented by:
- 36 days annual leave per year (inclusive of bank holidays) rising by 1 day each year to 40 days after five years.
- Up to 8% employer pension contributions.
- Support towards healthcare costs (cash plan).

- 25% discount in our charity shop.
