Shift Electrician

Electrical Technician – Fife – Up to £40,000 DOE

CBW has a new opportunity for an experienced Electrical Technician to join an in-house electrical maintenance team responsible for a large static site in the Fife area. The role involves a mix of day shifts, back shifts, and nights, with considerable time off in between. Candidates must hold a JIB card and 18th edition qualifications, with opportunities to undertake HV and LV qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Maintenance (RPM) tasks using Maximo or other systems.
• Exercise initiative and judgment to resolve non-routine problems independently and provide immediate solutions.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively, taking ownership and delivering tasks efficiently.
• Hold relevant technical qualifications or apprenticeships in Electrical Engineering or related disciplines.
• Proven experience as an Electrician within building services.
• Strong knowledge of PPMs and SLAs.
• Excellent understanding of engineering building services installation and maintenance techniques.

Shift Rota:

• 5-day shifts (Mon – Fri)
• 7-back shifts (Mon – Sun)
• 7-early shifts (Sat – Fri)
• 7-night shifts (Mon – Sun)
• 7-days off (Mon – Sun)

Hours:

• Early: 06:00 – 14:00
• Day: 07:45 – 16:15
• Back: 13:45 – 22:15
• Night: 21:45 – 06:15

To be considered:

• Relevant technical qualification or apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven experience as an Electrician or similar role, preferably in a healthcare environment.
• Strong knowledge of PPMs and SLAs.
• Excellent understanding of engineering building services installation and maintenance techniques.
