Interior Health is seeking a Permanent Part-Time Shift Coordinator to join the team at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook, BC.

Shift Type: Days & Nights; 07:15 to 19:15, 19:15 to 07:15

Days off: Rotating

The Shift Coordinator practices according to the standards of professional practice and the code of ethics outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM), within a patient and family-centered care model. The responsibilities include patient placement, bed utilization, and staffing during weekends, evenings, and night shifts. The Shift Coordinator acts as a clinical resource to staff, resolving issues related to patient care, staffing levels, and bed utilization. They are accountable for ensuring excellence in patient-centered care throughout the hospital during their assigned shift.
