Are you looking to work for a fast-growing Alt Net? This is your opportunity! One of the UK's largest growing Alt Nets is seeking Service Delivery Engineers to join their expanding team.
Your responsibilities will include installing and servicing overhead and underground networks using Openreach’s PIA network specifications. You will be involved in network maintenance, including the installation of CBTs, and will aim to resolve customer and network outages, acting as a supply network. - Perform daily customer residential installations, assisting with overhead and underground cabling and CBT installations.
- Follow proper procedures for fibre splicing and testing at various installation stages.
- Install fibre cables and CBTs, adhering to Openreach’s PIA policies.
- Conduct fault finding using OTDR back to exchanges.
- When necessary, perform minor civils works, including blockage clearance.
- Maintain health and safety standards across sites.
Minimum 1 year of experience in fibre installations.
Experience with overhead and underground cabling and installations.
Previous fault-finding experience using OTDR.
Experience working on the Openreach or PIA network.
BT Accreditations such as SA001/SA002/S7/S8 are desirable.
Salary up to £34,000 per annum. Annual bonus potential of up to 30% of salary.
