My client, a multi-disciplinary Planning Consultancy who specialise in Residential, Modular Build, Industrial and logistics, Public Sector, Retail and Leisure, Central London, Energy, Waste and Renewables and much more, is looking for an ambitious Senior Town Planner to join the team.
The company takes a modern, forward-thinking approach, and was awarded the 2021 RTPI Planning Consultancy of the year due to their ethos, work culture and well-being of staff. They are a regional company with offices in Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow, London, and Manchester. The successful candidate will have an interest in assisting a diverse range of planning matters from major mixed-use schemes to enforcement matters and will demonstrate the willingness to learn the commercial aspects of the role.
The Position as a Senior Town Planner
The position as a Senior Town Planner is for a proactive individual. The successful candidate will have a full or licentiate membership with the RTPI, and relevant consultancy experience. As a Senior Town Planner, you will be meaningfully involved in assisting the Directors of the practice in preparing planning applications, appeals, appraisals, and representations to development plan documents.
Essential Criteria for the candidate as a Senior Town Planner
- RTPI accredited town planning degree or relevant.
- A member of the RTPI (although the practice would support the right candidate in achieving this).
- Good communication skills and an enthusiastic mentality.
