An exciting position has arisen to join our South London and South East England territory as a Senior Technical Consultant providing clinical support and helping to drive sales of the Medtronic spinal portfolio. This includes our full spine and biologics portfolio as well as supporting spinal navigation, imaging and robotics.
A Day in the Life
• Provides clinical and technical support to the clinical team in theatres for spine cases.
• Holds responsibility for territory case coverage and support of intraoperative sales.
• Provides troubleshooting support to field sales force and customers.
• Participates in the development of employee and customer training/education programs.
• Participates in and supports regional events such as Congresses or Customer Events.
• Ensures inventory is maintained at its optimal level as per guidelines.
• Identifies ways to impact at scale and deliver outcomes with the highest standard of patient safety, quality, and ethics.
• Supports marketing and sales in the introduction and market release of new products.
Must Haves
• Degree in Engineering, Radiography, Life Science, Business or Biology, Physiotherapy, Nursing, or another relevant, advanced degree.
• Experience in the medical (device) industry or in a hospital operating room environment.
• Ability to operate in a matrix environment and work effectively with sales team, physicians, nurses, and hospital technicians.
• Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule, travel, and weekend support are required.
Nice to Haves
• Keen interest in Technology.
• Spinal/Orthopedic or Cranial Knowledge desirable.
• Previous training/education experience.
