KBR is looking to recruit a Senior Technical Advisor Mechanical on a 12-month contract based in Leatherhead, Surrey.

Job Overview

Our client intends to build a new stand-alone sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and hydro-processed vegetable oil (HVO) unit including a feed pre-treatment facility at the Borealis site in Kallo, Belgium. The client has requested a PMC to be provided to support their team. The primary aim is to provide expertise to assist with CAPEX reduction and an increased rate of return. The client and PMC teams will evaluate the scope development of licensors, technology, and service providers as well as engineering integrator.

Responsibilities

1. Supporting Engineering Partners and Licensors in developing all engineering deliverables to ensure a safe process unit fully integrated into the relevant refinery site.
2. Reviewing of engineering documentation from Licensor / Engineering partner.
3. Provide progress reports.

Experience

1. Static equipment type (pressure vessels and tanks)
2. Heat exchanger experience (shell & tubes and air cooler types) is also preferred.
3. Experience working as a PMC.

Travel

1. Location is Leatherhead (base) with occasional travel to Contractors in Seoul and Milan, Client in Vienna and Kallo site (Belgium).
