Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Conveyancer/Property Lawyer to head up our Private client\’s training team. This individual will lead the development of Property Lawyers across all of their Conveyancing centres based in Lincoln from entry level to long-serving case-handlers to ensure they have the level of skill required to run all types of residential Conveyancing transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure regular training is delivered on all conveyancing topics to ensure our lawyers have the opportunity to further their skills and progress through our lawyer banding.
2. Be an inspirational role model for our people.
3. Coach and support members of the Training Team as required.
4. Assist, along with your team, with the onboarding of new starters to the business.

Our successful candidate will deal with a wide range of private client service areas with particular emphasis on:

• Wills
• Executry administration including advising on tax paying estates
• Tax Planning, including advice on available reliefs
• Asset protection including the creation of Trusts
• Trust management
• AWI issues such as Powers of Attorney and Guardianships

Experience you have that will set you up for success:

1. Wide technical experience in conveyancing essential.
2. Ability to inspire, train and coach others.
3. At least five years PQE.
4. STEP accreditation.
5. Knowledge and comprehensive understanding of the legal market in order to support business development decisions in line with the requirements of the firm.
6. Extensive experience within Private Client and ability to build your own workload independently.
