Video Advertising is rapidly evolving as customers shift their viewing experiences from traditional linear TV to streaming via connected devices, and Prime Video is a rising player in this space. Prime Video Advertising is seeking an analytical Senior Programme Manager, with strong written and verbal communication skills, to support the growth of Prime Video Advertising across Europe.
You will help drive key business metrics to ensure the sustained growth of the advertising business in Prime Video. You will work backwards from our goals to create actionable milestones, drive all teams towards that mission through the management of our key business mechanisms (for e.g Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews), and lead critical strategic initiatives. As a Senior Programme Manager, you will anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and ensure teams are on track against deliverables and goals. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute programs and grow professionally alongside your colleagues as well as to help influence business strategy, make autonomous decisions and own programmes/projects. This role sits within the Prime Video Advertising Europe team, and will work closely with team members who are building the strategy and execution for sales enablement, events, and product marketing across the region, as well as the business leads for Northern Europe and Southern Europe.
This role will also work closely with: the Advertising organization (advertising go to market, product and finance teams) to drive monetisation workstreams; Prime Video service leaders to optimize the value of its supply; Ad Product, Tech and CX teams to define business requirements on new products and bring new formats and innovations to market.
Key job responsibilities:- Identify, oversee and drive workstreams to expand and optimise monetisable supply from Prime Video, including leading programme reviews with senior leadership.
- Lead structuring and execution of regional XBRs including MBRs, QBRs and weekly email updates to track progress and present to senior management.
- Drive inputs on behalf of Prime Video Advertising in Prime Video EU/International reporting mechanisms.
- Support Go-To-Market planning for future PVa launches in the EU region across marketing, sales, product, legal, including opportunity sizing, local benchmarking and regulatory insights, and folding new locales into existing processes.
- Structure and lead inputs to global product and tech teams connected to regional-specific requirements.
- Work with Cross Functional teams to ensure key roadmaps and activities are aligned to these short- and long-term business objectives.
- Manage a cross-functional process to translate the desired outcome into specific tasks and owners.
- Track progress, setting up critical project reviews (CPRs) as needed, and manage through obstacles to deliver program objectives.
- Support sharing of knowledge across business, putting in place additional mechanisms, as necessary, to aid circulation of key learnings and changes across various PV countries and functions.
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
- Experience in program or project management.
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
- Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment.
- Experience writing crisp, clearly articulated and logically supported recommendations to senior management with minimal supervision.
