Renishaw’s Group Operations Division is currently seeking to recruit a Senior Product Support engineer. The successful candidate will join an established engineering team to support our diverse range of metrology products and customer solutions across the UK and internationally.
Key Duties
- Provision of advanced technical support to existing customers via multiple media options.
- Production and approval of technical documentation and communications.
- Provide support and training of subsidiary service teams and act as a conduit between Renishaw’s service and design teams.
- Engagement with product development opportunities and the promotion of a continuous improvement mentality.
- Lead own investigation initiatives to enhance the quality of our product support and foster team growth.
- Facilitate the dissemination of technical information and communication to subsidiary engineers and end-users.
- Provide leadership to a team of engineers, promoting their professional growth and development.
Key Requirements
- Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a STEM discipline.
- Knowledge of metrology principles, particularly when applied to the use of CMM & Gauging products.
- Demonstrable experience of producing professional technical documentation.
- Significant experience in communicating complex ideas effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Proven analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
- Detailed understanding of Renishaw customer’s metrology requirements including typical manufacturing processes.
- Practical knowledge in the use of Renishaw metrology software would be beneficial but not essential.
- A valid passport ensuring unrestricted travel to and from the UK.
- A valid UK driving licence.

The successful applicant will be self-motivated, accountable, committed to tackling any challenge and disciplined. The individual must be adaptable, logical thinking, well organised, have good communication skills and an aptitude for problem solving. Working well as part of a team is essential.
Location
The role will be based at our New Mills site near Wotton-under-Edge in Gloucestershire.
