To help achieve this mission, Toast is expanding and growing into new countries like the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Canada. Critical to our expansion is solving a key challenge for our customers around F&B inventory and stock management. As the Senior Product Manager for Restaurant Inventory Management, you’ll work closely with leads in Design, Engineering, and Marketing to rethink how we enable customers to improve inventory, control costs, and operate smoothly. You will also be a founding member of our London office and organization, with autonomy to design & launch localized customer experiences to our global restaurants, testing, and iteration.
Location: This role is based in London but requires travel up to 10% of the time to visit engineering teams in Boston and Dublin.
About this role (Responsibilities)
- Define and execute on the roadmap for Restaurant Inventory Management in partnership with engineers, designers, and other product stakeholders.
- Define both product strategy and detailed product requirements. Establish the KPIs and metrics to measure and evaluate progress.
- Represent the voice of the UK customer: perform user research and competitive market analysis to become the expert on regional needs.
- Champion customer needs internally by building strong relationships horizontally and vertically within Toast.
- Integrate any UK acquisitions into Toast’s product experience.
Do you have the right ingredients? (Requirements)
- Passion for and knowledge of inventory management or F&B back-office operations.
- 5+ years of product management experience leading cross-functional teams that include in-house engineering teams, UX research, design, and marketing.
- A proven track record of working on developing and launching products on mobile and web.
- Experience translating customer needs, technical understanding, and product vision into world-class experiences based on user feedback.
- Ability (and enjoyment) to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, agile environment, while also leading process improvement and technology unification efforts.
- Experience with global products across different markets, cultures, and languages; ability to work with distributed global teams.
- Entrepreneurial and ownership mindset to work on 0-1 projects.
