Key Responsibilities:
- Identify commercial opportunities within the Engineering Services expenditure category by analyzing market trends, understanding internal requirements, and assessing vendor capabilities.
- Develop sourcing strategies aligned with market dynamics and company objectives.
- Assist the Category Manager in achieving strategic objectives in line with the company\’s Product Development strategy and Business Plans.
- Provide expertise in the Engineering Services sourcing category, including market knowledge and sourcing best practices.
- Define and deliver Engineering Services category plans that generate benefits, achieve financial savings, and mitigate risks.
- Manage Engineering Services contracts, including annual renewals, with attention to detail and effective contract management skills.
- Manage stakeholder relationships by acting as a liaison between the business and vendors, negotiating at a high level, and collaborating with internal stakeholders.
- Ensure procurement processes are consistent, develop strategic sourcing projects, and apply knowledge of contractual terms and conditions to improve processes.
