Senior/Principal Graphics Programmer, United Kingdom We have an excellent opportunity for a passionate game developer to join our Total War team as a Graphics Programmer. Based at our well-established studio in Sussex, UK, you will be a key member of the code team working on our next unannounced Total War title. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our games by collaborating with the wider development team to push the boundaries of the strategy genre. Key Responsibilities Researching and implementing new graphics-related technologies. Working on GPU/CPU optimizations and programming game modules including design, implementation, debugging, and documentation. Collaborating with Art and Design teams to solve problems and implement new features. Helping define targets and deliverables with the Lead Programmer and Development Managers. Maintaining high-quality programming standards and development processes. Communicating issues clearly and confidently, and offering solutions. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Fluent in C++ Experience with Visual Studio Experience with DirectX 12 or Vulkan Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience working on at least two shipped titles Multi-threaded / multi-core development experience Experience with DirectX 11 Enthusiasm for RTS games or a thorough appreciation of the Total War franchise About Creative Assembly Creative Assembly creates deep, detailed games enjoyed by millions worldwide.
