We are seeking an experienced Band 6 Senior Mental Health Practitioner to work in a community setting within the Basildon area. The position involves working 37.5 hours per week across a 24-hour shift pattern.
Responsibilities:- Conduct and oversee physical health care checks and respond to findings.
- Administer medications.
- Manage and oversee patient care.
- Provide training, mentorship, and guidance to mental health practitioners and other roles within the primary care/neighbourhood MDT.
- Attend peer supervision sessions to maintain and develop good practice and prescribing skills.
- Have a specialist understanding of medical conditions being treated, their natural progression, and assessment of severity.
- Registered with NMC.
- Experience working within a community setting.
- Completion of all required degrees and diplomas.
