Our transportation client is seeking a Senior Mainframe Modernization Engineer to modernize legacy applications and migrate them to AWS Cloud as part of a critical transformation project.

Duration: 1 year

This is a hybrid position requiring expertise in both legacy mainframe technologies and modern cloud services.

Must haves:

• Micro Focus Tools & Technologies: Strong knowledge of legacy programming languages such as COBOL , PL/I , and Natural , commonly used in mainframe environments.
• In-depth understanding of mainframe technologies and environments.
• AWS Cloud Services: Hands-on experience with AWS services like EC2 , S3 , RDS , and Lambda . The role may involve migrating legacy applications, integrating with cloud solutions, or managing hybrid environments.
• AWS Certified Developer – Associate or equivalent certification.
• Strong understanding of application development life cycles, testing strategies, and deployment procedures.
